The science of behavior can further our understanding of the human response to climate related disruptions to work operations and community life. BBS managers are uniquely poised to intervene and influence relevant behaviors at work and in their communities, targeting prevention, mitigation, and adaption. Participants will become familiar with key elements of organizational behaviors related to sustainability and resilience of communities affected by climate events and consider how BBS provides a model for helping communities anticipate catastrophic events and rebuild.
