Track: BBS- Advanced

This session will examine common organizational experiences with the “Safety Plateau” effect; provide an overview of proactive verses reactive approaches to Safety; and provide attendees with a simple System model which can be used in a variety of applications to help identify underlying issues that may manifest themselves in at-risk behaviors. Time permitting, we will also connect this model to common Continuous Improvement strategies, such as Lean to illustrate how he system model helps with business, not just safety.
