Consultant Requirements

In order to be considered as a presenter, consultants must either be a full member of the Association for Behavior Analysis or meet the eligibility requirements, or work for an organization with a principal who is a full member or meets the eligibility requirements

These eligibility requirements are a Master’s degree in experimental or applied behavior analysis, or significant contributions to the field of behavior analysis. The Master’s degree must include either:

  • a minimum of one year’s supervised experience in behavior analysis and a graduate project, thesis or dissertation in behavior analysis, or
  • two or more years supervised experience in behavior analysis.

Significant contributions to knowledge in behavior analysis must be documented by research publications, presentations at professional conferences or other comparable means reflected in a vita.
